Local and State Agency Representatives to be Available for Residents Needing Assistance in Storms Wake
PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (August 31, 2011)—The Calvert County Department of Public Safety is opening a Disaster Recovery Center in Prince Frederick to help county residents who need assistance in the wake of Hurricane Irene. The center will be open beginning Thursday, Sept. 1, through Saturday, Sept. 3, at Courthouse Square, 205 Main Street in Prince Frederick.
County residents may visit the center at any time from noon to 7 p.m. Thursday or 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and speak with representatives from the following relief agencies; those who are unable to travel to the center may call the listed phone numbers:
