MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (August 24, 2011)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) released the following incident and arrest reports.

TRESPASSING: On August 17 at 7:33 pm, Trooper First Class Logsdon responded to Jerry's Place Restaurant in Prince Frederick for a reported disorderly subject. Investigation revealed the subject had left the restaurant and was located at a near by business. He was informed not to return to the restaurant. Later the same day, Marvin W. Thomas, 44, of Prince Frederick, returned to the establishment and was arrested. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

FALSE STATEMENT TO AN OFFICER: On August 19 at 2:22 am, Trooper First Class Lewis stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Rt.2 at Wayside Dr. in Sunderland. During the traffic stop, a passenger, Timothy W. Perkins, 22, of Chesapeake Beach, gave the officer false identification. Once he was properly identified, he was found to have an open warrant. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

THEFT: On August 19 at 6:21 pm, Trooper First Class Dawson responded to the 4200 block of Cassell Blvd. in Prince Frederick for a reported theft. The victim reported that her cell phone was stolen. After an investigation, Sharlene A. Hager, 28, of Prince Frederick was found in possession of the stolen cell phone and was arrested. She was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

ASSAULT: On August 19 at 9:36 pm, Trooper First Class Sorenson responded to the 7600 block of Lake Shore Dr. in Owings for a reported assault. Investigation revealed that Carl M. Golie, 4th, 20, of Owings, had struck the victim in the face with an open hand. He was charged on a criminal summons.

TRESPASSING: On August 20 at 9:04 pm, Trooper First Class Dawson responded to the Running Hare Winery in Prince Frederick for a complaint of an intoxicated subject refusing to leave the property. William McAdams, 52, of Lexington Park, was arrested after refusing several requests by the Trooper to leave the property and refusing attempts to obtain a ride for the subject. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
