MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (August 8, 2011)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

BURGLARY: On August 2 at 1:23 pm, Trooper First Class R. Lewis responded to the 12550 block of Perrywood Lane in Dunkirk for a reported burglary. The back door of the residence was broken and the house was entered. No one was home at the time. Numerous items including a 42" Samsung flat screen TV, Toshiba Laptop computer, jewelry and Ipods were taken. Investigation continues.

DUI, POSSESSION OF PILLS: On August 3 at 12:34 pm, Trooper First Class R. Lewis stopped a vehicle on Rt. 4 and Main St. in Prince Frederick for traffic violations. The driver, Jacqueline M. Cryer, 48, of Great Mills, was found to be intoxicated and was placed under arrest. A search also revealed the she was in possession of assorted prescription pills. She was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF OXYCODONE: On August 4 at 10:23 pm, Trooper West stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route at Governor's Run Rd. in St. Leonard. A K-9 search of the vehicle was conducted which resulted in a positive alert. Eric M. Davis, 21, of Callaway, was found to be in possession of Oxycodone. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

THEFT: On August 5 at 3:54 pm, Trooper Casarella responded to the 3700 block of Emmanuel Ct. in Huntingtown for a reported theft. Two riding lawn mowers were stolen from the property. A 2010 Cub Cadet 2550 and a 2006 Gravely Mini-ZT. Investigation continues.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT, FALSE STATEMENT: On August 6 at 2:30 am, Trooper First Class Landis responded Rt. 261 and Brownie Beach to assist with a motor vehicle accident. Warren D. Homberg, Jr., 23 of Aquasco, became disorderly during the investigation and was making false statements. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

David M. WRIGHT, JR., 36, of Prince Frederick, arrested on 08/07/11 @ 01:17 am by TPR. W. Costello

Richard H. HACIA, 65, of Chesapeake Beach, arrested on 08/07/11 @ 03:20 am by TFC A. Merkelson
