LA PLATA, Md. (July 30, 2011)—The Charles County Sheriff's Office released the following incident and arrest reports.

BURGLARY: Sometime between 2:50 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. July 27, suspect(s) entered a residence in the 10 block of Tadcaster Circle in Waldorf and stole Nintento Wii and Sony PlayStation 3 game systems. The suspect(s) entered through an unlocked rear sliding glass door and fled undetected. Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call the Charles County Sheriff’s Office at 301-932-7777 or Charles County Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS. Officer K. Goddard is investigating.

ROBBERY ATTEMPT: On July 26 at 7:23 p.m., Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to the 3800 block of Kearnys Inn Place in Waldorf for the reported assault. The investigation revealed a 16-year-old Alexandria, Va., boy was walking on a footpath behind a relative’s residence when two unknown suspects approached him and demanded his wallet. The victim attempted to leave but the suspects stopped him and began beating him. The victim managed to escape to the relative’s residence and the suspects fled the scene. The victim sustained minor injures but refused medical treatment. Officers canvassed the area but were unable to find the suspects. The suspects are described as dark-complexioned black males between 15 and 18 years old. One of the suspects had a thin build and closely cut hair and was wearing a white tank top, black shorts and white and neon green colored sneakers. The other suspect was wearing a red shirt and dark pants. WHEEL/TIRE THEFT: Sometime between 6 p.m. July 25 and 6 a.m. July 26, suspect(s) stole the wheels and tires from a 2008 Cadillac DTS parked on Meadow Place in Waldorf. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call the Charles County Sheriff’s Office at 301-932-7777 or Charles County Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS. Officer P. DeBoe is investigating.

VEHICLE THEFT: Sometime between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. July 24, suspect(s) stole a 2007 Ford F250 Diesel Truck from the parking lot of the Marriott hotel located at 3145 Crain Highway in Waldorf. The truck bears blue letting for “Pike Electric” on the doors.
