PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (July 25, 2011)The Calvert County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.
WEEKLY SUMMARY: During the week of July 18 through July 24, deputies responded to 1,722 calls for service throughout the community.
DRUG ARREST: On July 18 at 9:09 p.m., DFC D. Deakins conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Md. Rt. 4 and Ward Road in Dunkirk. He found the driver, identified as Patricia Margarita Renderos-Alvarez, 24, of Brentwood, to be in possession of suspected marijuana. She was charged with possession of marijuana.
THEFT: Unknown person(s) took a Diamondback black and blue colored bicycle valued at $800 from the yard of a home on El Segunda Lane in Lusby overnight between July 18 and 19. Two Blue Point tool kits worth about $400 were stolen from the bed of a truck parked outside the home. Anyone with information is asked to contact Dep. A. Mohler at 410-535-2800.
THEFT: Overnight between July 18 and 19, unknown suspect(s) stole a pink colored Ipod in a red case worth about $100 and spare change from two unlocked vehicles outside a home on Wesley Stinnett Blvd. in Chesapeake Beach. F/Sgt. C. Bowen is investigating.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: Unknown suspect(s) caused $400 in damage to the gazebo railing and 3 pickets owned by the county at the Solomons boardwalk. Dep. A. Mohler is investigating the damage that occurred sometime between July 21 and 22.
DISORDERLY: On July 23 at 1:35 a.m., DFC E. Bradley investigated a call for trespassers on the beach near Gregg Drive in Lusby. Bradley made contact with a group of young people who were sitting around a small bonfire drinking alcohol. He determined that they were not property owners. One of the males became extremely belligerent and was shouting profanities. He was instructed numerous times to lower his voice but he refused. DFC Bradley attempted an arrest on the suspect, later identified as Marcus Marshawn Stout, 18, of Lusby, who became combative. Bradley was assisted by Dep. J. Hardesty. Stout was subsequently arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and failure to obey a law enforcement officer.
THEFT: A bronze colored seat to a Yamaha jet ski and the battery together valued at $600 were stolen while the jetski was stored at the Breezy Point Marina in Chesapeake Beach sometime between July 15 and 23. Anyone with information is asked to contact Cpl. T. Phelps at 410-535-2800.
DRUG ARREST: On July 24 at 4:30 p.m., DFC V. Evans arrested Antwan Javar Ware, 24, of Dunkirk, for possession of marijuana and possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, baggies and scales, after he investigated a suspicious activity call on Carter Avenue in Dunkirk.
