LA PLATA, Md. (July 21, 2011)—The Charles County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

CRIME SOLVERS OFFERING REWARD IN MOTORCYCLE THEFTS: The Charles County Sheriff's Office is seeking the identity of the suspects responsible for the thefts of three motorcycles in Charlotte Hall. Charles County Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the suspects. The motorcycles were stolen between April and June of this year in the 9500 block of Dubois Road. Detectives believe the motorcycles could have been sold via the internet or broken down into parts which were sold separately. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective A. SHERIFF'S OFFICE WARNS OF FUEL THEFTS: The Charles County Sheriff's Office is asking residents to be on the lookout for suspects stealing fuel from cars. Between July 19-July 20, during the overnight hours, unknown suspects stole fuel from vehicles parked in the area of Hunt Place and Industrial Park Drive in Waldorf. Two of the cars were parked in front of houses and the other two were parked at a business. Residents are urged to call the Sheriff's Office immediately if they see anything suspicious.

THEFT: Between July 19 and July 20, unknown suspects removed four wheels from an SUV in the 1500 block of Pink Oak Drive in Waldorf and left the truck on landscaping stones. PFC S. Cartwright investigated.

ATTEMPT THEFT OF CAR: Between July 18-July 19, unknown suspects broke into a car in the 3600 block of Mansfield Place in Waldorf. They destroyed the steering column at which point the vehicle's security system disabled the starting mechanism and prevented the suspects from stealing the car. Officer P. Morgan is investigating.

ASSAULT/STRONG ARM ROBBERY: On July 19 at 6:24 p.m., an unknown suspect began arguing with a male outside of a liquor store in the 100 block of St. Patrick's Drive. The suspect followed the male inside the store where he punched the victim, grabbed the victim's wallet and fled. The victim, who was not injured, called police. Officer P. DeBoe is investigating.
