WALDORF, Md. (June 24, 2011) – A fire was reported inside the Kohl’s Department Store located in the St. Charles Towne Center, 11110 Mall Circle, Waldorf, Charles County, at approximately 2:50 p.m. today.
The Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department responded with 4 firefighters, along with the Charles County Sheriff's Office. The fire did not cause any damage to the commercial building, but caused approximately $2,000 dollars in merchandise damage.
There was no fire alarm or fire sprinkler activation.
