Papa John's Pizza Employee Robbed While Locking Up Store


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (June 17, 2011)—An employee of Papa John's Pizza told police he was robbed at gunpoint late Wednesday while locking up the store, located at 8191 Jennifer Lane in Owings, Calvert County.

Police were called to the scene at approximately 11:51 p.m.

The employee told police that an unknown suspect approached him, produced a handgun, and indicated that he was going to rob him. A struggle ensued between the two and the suspect succeeded in retrieving money from the victim.

The suspect is described as a white male with camouflage pants, 5'-11", 215 lbs., wearing a black ski mask, camouflage jacket, and black and gray sweat pants.
