LEONARDTOWN, Md. (March 28, 2011)The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
DRUG ARREST: On Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 3:30am, Tpr. B. T. Wiesemann initiated a traffic stop on a red Chrysler in the area of Maryland Route 249 and Route 5 for a traffic violation. Upon making contact with the vehicle, the operator, Jacob Clarke Page, 18, of Hollywood, was identified along with a female juvenile, 16, of California, who was the front seat passenger. While identifying the occupants, Tpr. Wiesemann observed in plain view CDS on the lap of the female juvenile. Information provided by the juvenile and Mr. Page resulted in the arrest of both subjects for CDS Possession. Upon the arrival of additional law enforcement units, a probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted on the vehicle and remaining occupants. A male juvenile, 17, of Mechanicsville, was subsequently arrested when found in possession of CDS and CDS paraphernalia. Two male juveniles, also passengers in the vehicle were released from the scene to a guardian after being issued civil citations for underage drinking. Both the female and male juveniles arrested for Possession of CDS were transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack, processed and released to guardians pending further action by juvenile services. Mr. Page was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
ASSAULT 2ND DEGREE BY/ON JUVENILE: On Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 7:51pm, TFC M. J. Pitcher responded to the 21000 block of South Essex Drive in Lexington Park for a reported assault. Upon arrival, contact was made with male victim, 12, of Great Mills, who advised he was involved in a physical altercation with a male juvenile, 11, of Lexington Park, during the afternoon hours of March 23, 2011. Following information provided by the victim, TFC Pitcher made contact with a male witness, 11, of Lexington Park, who provided a similar account of the incident as the victim. Subsequently, TFC Pitcher responded to the 21000 block of Mary Margaret Court in Lexington Park, to make contact with the juvenile suspect, an interview was conducted in the presence of a guardian. Based on statements received, TFC Pitcher arrested a male juvenile, 11, of Lexington Park, for Second Degree Assault. The juvenile was released on scene to a guardian pending further action by juvenile services.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, March 25, 2011 at 11:05am, TFC K. D. Lashley served two outstanding Bench Warrants (T3-14866 / T3-14867) on Courtney Leigh Quade, 31, of Prince Frederick. The warrants were issued with original charges of Driving Without Required License and Driving While Suspended on March 9, 2011 by the District Court of Calvert County. Ms. Quade was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 1:25pm, Tpr. R. L. Jackson served an Arrest Warrant (T3-14778) on Michael Gregory Purnell, 22, of Lusby. The warrant was issued on February 1, 2011 by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of First Degree Assault. Mr. Purnell was arrested and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center for service. He was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 9:45pm, TFC M. B. Adams served two outstanding Bench Warrants (T3-13304 / 14868) on George F. Butler, 60, of Glen Burnie. The District Court of St. Mary's County issued a warrant (T3-13304) for Mr. Butler's arrest for CDS Possession - Not Marijuana on February 29, 2008. Additionally, a warrant was issued by the District Court of Baltimore City on November 26, 2007 (T3-14868) for Violation of Probation. Mr. Butler was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center for service. He was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Sunday, March 27, 2011 at 2:00am, TFC D. S. Brill served an Arrest Warrant (T3-14869) on Marsha Charlene Wilkerson, 34, of Brandywine. The warrant was issued for Ms. Wilkerson's arrest on February 24, 2011 by the District Court of Montgomery County. The original charge was CDS Possession - Not Marijuana / CDS Equipment for Possession and Distribution. Ms. Wilkerson was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
