LEONARDTOWN, Md. (March 13, 2011) — Brenda C. Henley, CAA, athletic director at Great Mills High School, has been selected as the District IV Athletic Director of the Year. District IV is comprised of Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary's counties.
Ms. Henley has been the athletic director at Great Mills High School for 17 years and currently holds the position of vice president of the Southern Maryland Athletic Conference (SMAC). She will assume the presidency in the fall.
Ms. Henley will be honored by her colleagues from across the state at the Maryland State Athletic Directors Association's annual convention held in Ocean City, MD, April 14-16.
