MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (March 8, 2011)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT: On 3/1/11 at 8:39 pm, Trooper First Class Merkelson responded to the 1900 block of Kingswood Drive in Prince Frederick for a reported theft of a vehicle. A black Honda Del Sol was stolen from the victim's driveway. The vehicle was inoperable and appeared to have been towed away. Investigation continues.

THEFT: On 3/2/11 at 1:45 pm, Trooper Smith responded to the Jim's Air on Solomons Island Road in Prince Frederick for a reported theft. A customer had two tanks filled with propane and drove off without paying. The vehicle is described as a blue Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck with a red rusted roof and white raised cab. Investigation continues. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call the Maryland State Police at (410) 535-1400. You may remain anonymous.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 3/4/11 at 8:33 am, Trooper First Class Evans stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Armory Road in Prince Frederick. The driver, Korey A. Salmon, 31 of Waldorf, was found to be in possession of marijuana. He was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

POSSESSION OF PILLS: On 3/5/11 at 10:40 am, Trooper First Class Lewis responded to the Super 8 Motel in Prince Frederick to check on the welfare of a guest. The guest was found to have overdosed on medications. Another room occupant, Gregory S. Moscati, 21 of Davidsonville, was found to be in possession of numerous pills and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

PUBLIC INTOXICATION: On 3/5/11 at 11:30 pm, Trooper Williams responded to the Ruddy Duck Brewery in Dowell to assist with an intoxicated subject. Nikkie L. Campbell, 29 of Mechanicsville, was found to be heavily intoxicated and uncooperative. She was arrested for public intoxication and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center.

Nicholas M. RASKHODOFF, 20, of Chesapeake Beach, arrested on 03/07/11 @ 08:56 pm by TPR. W. Smith
