MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (March 7, 2011)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 5:15 pm, TFC J. R. Stern served a Bench Warrant (T3-14824) on Eric W. Jenkins, 28, of Piney Point. The warrant was issued with an original charge of False Statement to an Officer on February 25, 2011 by the District Court of St. Mary's County. Mr. Jenkins was served at the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

FRAUD PER IDENTIFICATION: On Friday, March 4, 2011 at 1:14 am, TFC N. E. Gresko initiated a traffic stop on Maryland Route 237 at Pegg Road in Lexington Park on a Gold Chevrolet for a traffic violation. Upon making contact with the operator, the female provided a name and date of birth to identify herself. A MVA query conducted indicated that the operator did not match the on file photo corresponding with the information she provided. Further investigation led to the positive identification of the driver as Lashawnda Soniece - Sher Holland, 25, of Lexington Park. Ms. Holland's license privileges were also found to be suspended. TFC Gresko placed Ms. Holland under arrest for False Statement to An Officer and Driving On A Suspended License. Ms. Holland was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

DANGEROUS WEAPON: On Friday, March 4, 2011 at 3:26 am, TFC M. B. Adams initiated a traffic stop in the area of Maryland Route 5 and Kimberly Drive on a white Buick Le Saber for a traffic violation. Upon making contact with the operator, identified as Norman Kenneth Dickerson, 29, of an Unknown Fixed Address, TFC Adams observed indicators that Mr. Dickerson might be intoxicated. Mr. Dickerson was asked to exit the vehicle for standardized field sobriety. Upon being asked did he have any weapons on him, Mr. Dickerson advised he did and was subsequently searched. Mr. Dickerson was found in possession of a switch blade, classified as a Dangerous Weapon in the State of Maryland. Field Sobriety was conducted on the scene and Mr. Dickerson was arrested for DWI at 3:43am. Mr. Dickerson was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, March 4, 2011 at 4:52 am, TFC E. J. Page served an Arrest Warrant (T3-14635) on Norman Kenneth Dickerson, Jr., 29, of an unknown fixed address. The warrant was issued for Mr. Dickerson's arrest on October 18, 2010 by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge First Degree Assault, Second Degree Assault, and Reckless Endangerment. Mr. Dickerson was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, March 4, 2011 at 2:43 pm, TFC L. N. Nims served an Arrest Warrant (T3-14831) on Jeremie Lamar Neal, 26, of an unknown fixed address. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of 2nd Degree Burglary and Malicious Destruction of Property on March 3, 2011. Mr. Neal was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, March 4, 2011 at 9:30 pm, TFC J. A. Pilkerton served a Bench Warrant (T3-14832) on Steven James Fellner, 38, of Prince Frederick. The warrant was issued on June 29, 2010 by the District Court of Charles County. The original charge was Doing Business Without A Traders License. Mr. Fellner was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 2:45 am, Tpr. E. T. Reuschling served a Bench Warrant (T3-14711) on Donald Lewis Bryan, Sr., 53, of Ridge. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County on December 14, 2010. Mr. Bryan was originally charged with multiple traffic offenses including Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving On A Revoked or Suspended License Privilege. Mr. Bryan was served at the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

DRUG ARREST: On Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 3:50 pm, St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office received a call from a concerned citizen operating on Maryland Route 234 who advised she was behind a green Toyota Scion operating in a reckless fashion. The caller had followed the vehicle since Maryland Route 6 in Charles County. An off-duty St. Mary's County deputy was able to locate the vehicle and observe the reckless operation. The vehicle was pulled over at Maryland Route 234 and Bayside Road and held until an on-duty unit arrived. Tpr. B. T. Wiesemann arrived on scene and made contact with the operator at approximately 3:55 pm. The operator, identified as Theresa Agnes Potts, 54, of Leonardtown, was unable to satisfactorily complete Standardized Field Sobriety and was subsequently arrested for DUI. A search incident to arrest, revealed Ms. Potts to be in possession CDS and CDS Paraphernalia. Ms. Potts was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and charged accordingly. She was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, March 07, 2011 at 3:55 am, Tpr. E. T. Reuschling served a Bench Warrant (T3-14833) on Kevin David Prem, 25, of Lexington Park. Mr. Prem was wanted by the District Court of Howard County for Driving On A Suspended License. The warrant was issued on February 2, 2011. Mr. Prem was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
