MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (March 1, 2011)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

BURGLARY: On 2/22/11 at 8:45 am, Trooper First Class Merkelson responded to the 100 block of Walton Road in Huntingtown for a reported burglary. The victim discovered that a barn on the property had been entered and a Stihl pole saw, Stihl hedge trimmers and a five gallon diesel fuel can had been stolen. Investigation continues.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 2/23/11 at 4:26 pm, Trooper Esnes stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 231 at Prince Frederick Blvd. in Prince Frederick. Robert M. Wallace, 21 of Lusby, was placed under arrest for driving without a license. During a search, marijuana was found. He was additionally charged with possession of marijuana. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

THEFT: On 2/25/11 at 8:25 am, Trooper Thompson responded to the 4100 block of Leitches Wharf Rd. in Prince Frederick for a reported theft. Approximately 75 pounds of copper was taken from the outside of the residence. Investigation continues.

STOLEN VEHICLE: On 2/25/11 at 11:39 pm, Trooper Williams stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on HG Trueman Road in the area of Dowell Elementary School. The driver, Lori Ann Riti, 42 of Lusby, was arrested for driving a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was a rental car reported stolen in St. Mary's County after it was never returned. She was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF COCAINE, MARIJUANA, AND OXYCODONE: On 2/27/11 at 7:18 pm, Trooper Williams stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 4 at Route 402 in Prince Frederick. The driver, James E. Wade, 3rd, 18 of California, was found to be in possession of marijuana. The passenger, Andre A. Montgomery, 31 of Lexington Park, was found to be in possession of Cocaine and Oxycodone. Both suspects had outstanding warrants. They were incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

THEFT: On 2/28/11 at 10:30 am, Trooper West received a report of a theft from a vehicle. A vehicle was left unlocked while parked at the All Saints Parish Church in Sunderland. A Garmin GPS unit was stolen from the vehicle. Investigation continues.

Bobby L. KING, 25, of Sunderland, arrested on 02/26/11 @ 09:20 pm by TFC K. Donaldson
