Forrest Center Students are Finalists in Video Contest


Students Need Your Online Vote to Win

LEONARDTOWN, Md. (March 1, 2011) — Dr. James A. Forrest Career and Technology Center students Matt Hunt, Josh Hudson, and Jonathan Skrabacz are finalists in the WBAL-TV 11 3D Project Safe Driving Video Contest. This is an opportunity for high school students to shine in front of a statewide audience and promote safe driving.

The R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE), the Maryland Highway Safety Foundation, and WBAL teamed up to launch this high school video contest to promote Maryland's distracted driving laws. The winning video will be aired on WBAL-TV and featured online. In addition, the school attended by the winners will receive a monetary prize to promote teen safe driving.

The winning video will be determined by the number of votes received from the public. To view and vote on Matt, Josh, and Jonathan's video titled, "You Decide," visit www.wbaltv.com/3d/26810958/detail.html, and proceed to voting after viewing.
