LEONARDTOWN, Md. (February 23, 2011)The St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) Narcotics Division on Tuesday released the following incident and arrest reports. The Division is an investigative team comprised of detectives from the St. Marys County Sheriffs Office, Maryland State Police Drug Enforcement Division, and Federal Drug Agents (HIDTA Group 34). The Division was established on September 1st, 2007 and is based in St. Marys County.
INDICTMENT FOR CRACK COCAINE SALES: Carl Edward White, a/k/a "Nugget," 29 of Lexington Park, was arrested after St. Mary's County Grand Jurors handed down an arrest warrant in the form of an indictment. On several occasions, undercover purchases of crack cocaine were made from him. He was originally held without bail.
ARREST FOR MARIJUANA SALES: Jawon Nathaniel Berry, 23 of Great Mills, was arrested on an open Grand Jury indictment for three counts of Distribution of Marijuana. On at least three occasions detectives were able to make undercover purchases of marijuana from the suspect at various locations in the Lexington Park and Great Mills area.
INDICTMENT FOR DISTRIBUTION OF MARIJUANA: Kenneth Gemayel Parnell, 28 of Lexington Park, was arrested on two separate open indictments for Distribution of Marijuana.
INDICTMENT FOR DISTRIBUTION OF COCAINE: Natasha Eileen Graves, 24 of Avenue, was indicted by vice narcotics detectives for Distribution of Cocaine and Conspiring to Distribute Cocaine. Suspect Graves was identified as a participant in a cocaine distribution investigation. This investigation is ongoing.
INDICTMENT FOR MANUFACTURING MARIJUANA: Jonathan Daniel Lyon, 25 of Mechanicsville, was arrested after vice narcotics detectives indicted him for Manufacturing and Possession with the Intent to Distribute Marijuana. He was originally held without bond.
