PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (February 22, 2011)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
POSSESSION OF PILLS: On 2/15/11 at 8:58 pm, Trooper First Class Lewis stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 261 north of Route 260 in Chesapeake Beach. The driver appeared to be attempting to hide something in the vehicle. A search revealed pill and drug paraphernalia. William T. Scott, Jr., 18 of North Beach, was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 2/17/11 at 10:18 pm, Trooper First Class Evans stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 231 at Yardley Drive in Prince Frederick. An odor of Marijuana was detected in the vehicle and search revealed that the passenger, Brian A. Brooks, 23 of Lusby, was in possession of Marijuana. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
THEFT: On 2/18/11 at 12:40 pm, Sergeant Coppage received a report of theft from a vehicle. A handicap placard was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in front of the Giant food store in Dunkirk.
BURGLARY: On 2/19/11 at 11:01 pm, Trooper First Class Parker responded to the 12300 block of Algonquin Trail in Lusby, for a reported burglary. The victim returned home to discover that the home had been entered and two laptop computers and $60 cash were stolen. Investigation continues.
THEFT: On 2/21/11 at 9:11 pm, Trooper First Class Merkelson responded to the 3400 block of Hill Gail Drive in Chesapeake Beach for a reported theft. A Generac 8,000 watt generator was removed from the residence. Investigation continues.
