MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (February 14, 2011)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

DRUG ARREST: On Sunday, February 6 at 3:15 pm, TFC A. J. Malaspina was on patrol in the 37000 block of Asher Road in Mechanicsville in an attempt to locate a wanted subject. While patrolling the area, TFC Malaspina observed a white Ford Crown Victoria occupied with numerous subjects, with one subject matching the description of the wanted individual. Upon making contact with the occupants, Spencer J. Goedecke, 19, of Mechanicsville was apprehended on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-14748). While serving the warrant, TFC Malaspina observed in plain-view CDS. Information provided by the occupants of the vehicle, resulted in the arrest of a juvenile male 17, of Mechanicsville for Possession of CDS. An additional search of the vehicle resulted in the arrest of Dale Lee Buckler, Jr., 19, of Brandywine. Both the subject related to the warrant and Mr. Buckler were transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and charged accordingly. The juvenile male was transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack and charged prior to being released to a guardian pending further action by juvenile services.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, February 7 at 3:45 pm, TFC N. E. Gresko served a Bench Warrant (T3-14774) on Adam Richard Holmes, 26, of Callaway. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County on February 1 with an original charge of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Mr. Holmes was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

DRUG ARREST: On Monday, February 7 at 8:57 pm, TFC N. E. Gresko initiated a traffic stop in the area of Maryland Route 5, just prior to Maryland Route 234 on a Chevrolet Blazer for a traffic violation. Upon making contact with the operator of the vehicle, identified as Dewayne Anthony Washington, 24, of King George, Virginia, TFC Gresko detected the odor of burnt marijuana emitting from the vehicle. A probable cause search revealed CDS in the vehicle and on Mr. Washington's person. Mr. Washington was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

DRUG ARREST, WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, February 8 at 7:17 am, Tpr. S. Casarella served a Bench Warrant (T3-14787) on Nathan Jared Mower, 24, of California. The warrant was issued with an original charge of Theft: Less Than $500.00 Value by the District Court of Charles County on September 21, 2010. Mr. Mower was apprehended while stopped for traffic in the area of Maryland Route 5 and Birch Manor Drive in Mechanicsville. In a search incident to arrest, Mr. Mower was also found to be in possession of CDS. Mr. Mower was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and charged accordingly. He was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, February 8 at 5:00 pm, TFC N. E. Gresko, TFC M. B. Adams, and Tpr. E. T. Reuschling served outstanding Arrest Warrants (T3-14788 / T3-14789 / T3-14790) on Terry Lynn Brown, 41, of Bladensburg. The warrants were issued by the District Court of Calvert County on December 13, 2010, December 21, 2010, and January 14. The original charges were Driving On A Suspended License and Unauthorized Removal of Property / Taking Vehicle Without Owner's Consent With Intent to Deprive Owner. Mr. Brown was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, February 8 at 8:20 pm, TFC N. E. Gresko served an Arrest Warrant (T3-14758) on Kevin Terrell Gray, 29, of Suitland. The warrant was issued on January 25 by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Possession of Firearms, Driving On Suspended License, and Attempt By Driver to Elude Police in Office Police Vehicle by Failing to Stop. Mr. Gray was arrested and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, February 9 at 9:30 am, TFC K. D. Lashley served a Circuit Court Warrant (T3-14699) on Ryan Patterson Foss, 24, of Waldorf. The warrant was issued by the Circuit Court of St. Mary's County on December 3, 2010 with an original charge of Driving On A Suspended License. Mr. Foss was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, February 9 at 11:30 pm, TFC E. M. Evans served a Bench Warrant (T3-14759) on Franklin R. Bumpers, 59, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued on January 25 by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Driving While Impaired by Alcohol. Mr. Bumpers was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, February 11 at 11:15 am, Sgt. J. S. Jones served an Arrest Warrant (T3-12096) on Peter Juan Garcia, 28, of an Unknown Fixed Address. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County on April 18, 2006 with an original charge of a Fourth Degree Sexual Offense and Theft Less Than $100.00. Mr. Garcia was transported from a Detention Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and served at the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was held pending bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, February 11 at 11:15 am, TFC N. E. Gresko served a Bench Warrant (T3-12097) on Pedro Juan Garcia, 28, of Hollywood. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County on April 20, 2006 with an original charge of Second Degree Assault. Mr. Garcia was transported from a Detention Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and served at the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was held pending bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Saturday, February 12 at 9:15 am, TFC A. J. Malaspina served a Bench Warrant (T3-14782) on Sherrie Renee Jenkins, 32, of Hollywood. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County on February 3 with an original charge of Driving On A Suspended License. Ms. Jenkins was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Sunday, February 13 at 1215 pm, Tpr. E. R. Mersman served an Arrest Warrant (T3-14740) on Jasmine Romayne Young, 22, of Leonardtown. The warrant was issued on January 10 by the District Court of St. Mary's County. The original charge was Malicious Destruction of Property. Ms. Young was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
