Charles County Crime Solvers Offering Cash Reward for Information
Police in Charles Co. are searching this man who is accused of robbing
the M&T Bank, located at 87 High Street in Waldorf, on Thursday.
LA PLATA, Md. (January 28, 2011) Charles County Sheriff's detectives are seeking the identity of a man who robbed a bank
Thursday afternoon. A cash reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for the tip that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspect.
On January 27, at 1:15 p.m., the suspect entered the M&T Bank located at 87 High Street in Waldorf. He passed a note to a teller announcing a robbery and demanding money. Although the suspect did not display a weapon and none was seen, the note threatened harm if the teller did not cooperate.
The suspect is described as a black male, mid-twenties, 6'0", 200-210 lbs., wearing a dark-colored ski vest, a gray hooded sweat shirt with stripes, and a knit hat. He was last seen on foot running across the parking lot. Detectives canvassed the area and obtained bank surveillance photos.
