MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (January 25, 2011)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

THEFT: On January 18 at 1:45 p.m., Trooper First Class Esnes responded to Lusby Hardware in Prince Frederick for a report a theft. A John Deere Z425 Lawnmower was stolen from a gated area at the rear of the parking lot. An older model gray Ford pickup truck bearing a Virginia tag of XFL6469 was observed leaving the scene. Investigation continues.

DUI, POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On January 18 at 10:03 p.m., Trooper Thompson stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Dowell Rd and HG Trueman Rd. in Lusby. Michael L. Wagner, Jr., 53 of Lusby, was arrested for DUI. A search revealed that he was also in possession of Marijuana. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

BURGLARY: On January 19 at 3:48 p.m., Trooper Thompson responded to the 4100 block of Leitches Wharf Rd. in Prince Frederick for a reported burglary. The residence was entered through a broken second story window. Nothing was found to be stolen from the residence. Investigation continues.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA AND PILLS: On January 21 at 2:04 am, Trooper First Class Bender stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 4 at Fox Run Boulevard in Prince Frederick. During a search of the vehicle a passenger was found to be in possession of pills, Marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Patrick T. Paglioccini, Jr., 23 of Sunderland, was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On January 22 at 10:20 am, Trooper Esnes stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on HG Trueman Road at Dowell Road in Solomons. An odor of Marijuana was detected in the vehicle. A search revealed that the driver, Reginald Luther Price, 42 of Lusby, was in possession of Marijuana. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY, THEFT: On January 23 at 1:02 pm, Trooper First Class Donaldson responded to Carmel Lane in Huntingtown for a reported destruction of property and theft. Two vehicles parked at the residence had their tires punctured and a rear Maryland registration plate 6DHL44 was stolen from one of the vehicles. Investigation continues.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA, DUI: On January 23 at 3:37 pm, Trooper First Class Lewis stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 260 at G Street in Chesapeake Beach. An odor of Marijuana was detected and a search was conducted. The driver, Timothy Donnell Claggett, 2nd, 20 of Sunderland, was found to be in possession of Marijuana. He was also charged with driving under the influence. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

Rodney C. COTT, 31, of North Beach, arrested on 1/22/11 @ 3:16 am by TFC A. Merkelson
