LA PLATA, Md. (January 18, 2010)—The Charles County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

STRONG-ARM ROBBERY: On January 15 at 11:49 p.m., two 14-year-old males were sitting in a pavilion near Promenade Place and Aldersgate Road in Waldorf when a male in his mid-teens approached and demanded money. One victim resisted and the suspect assaulted him, stole his money and fled. Officers canvassed the area and processed the scene for evidence. At the time of the assault, the suspect was wearing a black North Face jacket, black jogging pants, a bright blue knit cap and bright blue gloves with a white stripe. Anyone with information is asked to call the Charles County Sheriff's Office at (301) 932-2222. TWO MEN CHARGED WITH DUI: On January 15 at 4:47 p.m., officers initiated a traffic stop near Livingston Road and Pomfret Road in Bryans Road after observing a violation. Upon approaching the car, officers noted the driver, Lovelle Antoine Proctor, 39, appeared to be intoxicated. He failed a field sobriety test and was arrested. During the arrest, the driver's father, Lloyd Chester Hart, 67, drove by in another vehicle. He was stopped after the officer noticed his brake lights were out. It was determined he too was intoxicated. Hart was arrested after failing a sobriety test. Both men were charged with driving while intoxicated.

CALL FOR RECKLESS DRIVER LEADS TO DUI ARREST: On January 14 at 11:34 a.m., officers responded to the area of Route 5 near Forest Park for the report of a reckless driver. Officers observed the car and initiated a traffic stop but the driver refused to stop and continued north on Route 5. The driver eventually stopped in the parking lot of a gas station near Route 205. Officers approached the car and found the driver, Sean Michael Brown, 40, of Chaptico, to be intoxicated. He was arrested and charged with DUI and other traffic violations.

BURGLARY: On January 13, between 7 a.m. - 1 p.m., a suspect entered a house in the 1200 block of Bannister Circle in Waldorf and stole a game system.

BURGLARY: On January 17 between 12:30 p.m. - 6:45 p.m., a suspect entered a house through a garage door in the 6400 block of Porpoise Court in Waldorf and stole computers, money, jewelry and a gun. The scene was processed for evidence.
