St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (December 29, 2010)—The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office recently released the following incident and arrest reports.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT: On December 28, Deputy Kristi Nelson responded to a residence in Lexington Park for a disturbance. While on the scene, Deputy Nelson learned Malissa J. Jameson, 27, of Lexington Park, had struck her boyfriend in the face. While officers were on the scene, Jameson was uncooperative, refused to stop screaming and refused to obey the directions given by law enforcement. She was subsequently arrested, charged with assault, disorderly conduct, and failure to obey a lawful order. Malissa Jameson was released to the custody of the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.

DRUG ARREST: On December 28, Deputy Kristi Nelson responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle behind a building in Great Mills. Upon arrival, she located a 1998 Chrysler Concorde. Upon further inspection, she discovered two occupants and detected the odor of marijuana. A search was conducted and William Fenwick, 21, of Lexington Park, was found in possession of a small baggie of suspected marijuana. Fenwick was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

TRESPASS: On December 28, Cpl. David Corcoran responded to the J.C. Penny Store in California for a trespass complaint. Upon arrival, he learned Jenifer M. Moy, 19, of Lusby, was on the premises in violation of a previously issued notice not to trespass. Moy was arrested for trespass and released to the custody of the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
