MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (December 20, 2010)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

THEFT OVER $1000: On Monday, December 13 at 9:09 am, Tpr. S. M. Morton responded to the 45000 block of Abell House Lane in California for a reported theft. Upon arrival, contact was made with a male complainant, 54, of Hollywood, who advised between 3:45 pm on Friday, December 10 and 7:00 am on Monday, December 13, various plumbing materials were stolen from the location. No suspects were established in the case, any information pertaining to the theft can be forwarded to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack.

THEFT OVER $1000: On Tuesday, December 14 at 3:43 pm, Tpr. B. T. Wiesemann responded to the CVS on Great Mills Road in Lexington Park for a reported theft. Upon arrival, contact was made with a male complainant, 35, of Herndon, Virginia who advised an internal investigation revealed that Dawn Renee Adkins, 35, of Tall Timbers, was removing prescription medication from the establishment without purchasing it. Ms. Adkins was detained and questioned regarding the theft. Following information provided by Ms. Adkins, she was arrested for Possession of CDS - Not Marijuana and Theft Under $100.00. Ms. Adkins was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and charged accordingly. She was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

ASSAULT 2ND DEGREE: On Tuesday, December 14 at 4:30 pm, TFC E. M. Evans responded to the 22000 block of Newtowne Neck Road in Leonardtown for a reported domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, contact was made with a male complainant, 32, of Leonardtown, who advised following a verbal disagreement he was struck with an object that cause physical injury to him. Information provided by the victim and suspect Angel Mae Wathen, 25, of Leonardtown, coincided with evidence observed on the scene of the incident by TFC Evans. Ms. Wathen was arrested for Second Degree Assault and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, December 17 at 2:30 pm, TFC N. E. Gresko served a bench warrant (T3-14714) on Ohmer W. Webb, 27, of Mechanicsville. Mr. Webb was located in the 20000 block of Point Lookout Road in Lexington Park and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County on December 16 with an original charge of Driving Under the Influence. Mr. Webb was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Sunday, December 19 at 10:25 pm, Tpr. S. Casarella served a bench warrant (T3-14664) on Stanley Ignatius Armstrong, 41, of Mechanicsville. A warrant was issued for Mr. Armstrong's arrest on November 5 by the District Court of St. Mary's County. The original charge was Driving Under the Influence. Mr. Armstrong was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
