MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (December 2, 2010)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

2ND DEGREE ASSAULT: On Tuesday, November 30 at 3:54 a.m., TFC C. M. Evans responded to the 16000 block of Camp Merryelande Road in Piney Point for a reported domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, contact was made with the female complainant, 39, of Piney Point, who advised she was assaulted by Randy Lee Williams, 40, of Piney Point. Physical evidence observed on the scene by TFC Evans coincided with the chain of events described by the complainant. Mr. Williams was not on scene at the time of police arrival, but was located a short time later in Callaway. Mr. Williams was arrested for Second Degree Assault and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

THEFT UNDER $100: On Tuesday, November 30 at 6:35 p.m., TFC N. E. Gresko responded to the McKay's Food in the Merchants Lane Shopping Center in Leonardtown for a reported shoplifter in custody. Upon arrival, contact was made with a male complainant, 42, of Leonardtown, who advised he observed the female subject place an item on her person and attempt to exit the establishment without paying for it. Alexandra Marie Darrow, 23, of Mechanicsville, was arrested for Theft Under $100.00 and charged on a criminal summons. Ms. Darrow was issued a no trespass order and released from the scene pending a future court appearance.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, December 1 at 12:35 a.m., TFC C. M. Evans served a bench warrant (T3-14677) on Mark Joseph Thompson, 46, of Saint Inigoes, for Driving While Impaired by Alcohol. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County on November 16. Mr. Thompson was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, December 1 at 5:58 p.m., TFC M. B. Adams served a bench warrant (T3-14682) issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County on Izella E. Bush, 42, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued with an original charge of Second Degree Assault on November 18. Ms. Bush was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
