MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (November 15, 2010)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Thursday, November 11 at 9:00am, TFC E. J. Page served multiple warrants on Michael Brian Dyson, 36, of Mechanicsville. Mr. Dyson was wanted on three outstanding warrants (arrest warrant T3-14647, bench warrant T3-14643, and bench warrant T3-14644), all issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County. The arrest warrant was issued on October 30 with an original charge of Theft Less Than $1000.00. Both bench warrants were issued on October 27 with original charges of Fourth Degree Burglary and Theft Less Than $100.00. Mr. Dyson was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Thursday, November 11 at 1:30pm, TFC J. R. Stern served an arrest warrant (T3-14652) on Dwight Calvin Brown, 47, of Mechanicsville. Mr. Brown was extradited from Fairfax, Virginia on the outstanding arrest warrant issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County. The warrant was issued on November 1 with an original charge of Fourth Degree Sex Offense. Mr. Brown was transported from Virginia to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, November 12 at 9:20pm, TFC M. J. Pitcher served an arrest warrant (T3-14434) on Michelle Benita Goodwin, 42, of Riverdale. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County on May 13 with an original charge of Rented Vehicle / Failed to Return. Ms. Goodwin was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

DRUG ARREST: On Saturday, November 13 at 2:35am, Cpl. M. W. Laney initiated a traffic stop on a blue Chevrolet Monte Carlo in the area of Maryland Route 4 and Indian Bridge Road, in California for traffic violation. Upon making contact with the operator, Brian Matthew Thomas Wheedleton, 23, of Hollywood, Cpl. Laney detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath. Mr. Wheedleton exited the vehicle, and standardized field sobriety was performed. Subsequently, Mr. Wheedleton was arrested for Driving Under the Influence. While at the Leonardtown Barrack, a secondary search of Mr. Wheedleton was performed. He was found to be in possession of CDS. Mr. Wheedleton was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and charged accordingly. He will be held at the Detention Center pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Saturday, November 13 at 1:30pm, TFC N. E. Gresko served a bench warrant (T3-14674) on Tyler Wade Heman, 19, of Hollywood. The warrant was issued for Possession of Alcoholic Beverage Under 21 on August 24 by the District Court of Charles County. Mr. Heman was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, November 15 at 2:41am, TFC M. A. Moore served a bench warrant (T3-14671) on Lori Lynn Stockman, 38, of Lusby. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County on November 9 with an original charge of Driving On A Suspended License. Ms. Stockman was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
