PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (November 15, 2010)The Calvert County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.
WEEKLY SUMMARY: During the week of November 8 through 14, deputies responded to 1,510 calls for service throughout the community.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: Unknown suspect(s) broke the wooden gate and a lock at the Chesapeake Beach pumping station on Bayside Road. The damage, estimated at $150, occurred sometime between 11:00 a.m. and 10:43 p.m. on November 8. Dep. A. Lawton is investigating.
THEFT FROM VEHICLE: Someone stole $65 from an unlocked vehicle that was parked outside a home on Donner Court in Lusby overnight between November 10 and 11. DFC J. Lord is investigating.
BURGLARY: Dep. J. Hardesty is investigating a burglary to a home on Sharon Circle in Sunderland that occurred sometime on November 12 between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The suspect(s) stole a 50 inch Samsung flat panel TV, a Wii gaming console and 20 games, all together valued at $2900. DRIVER OF CRASHED VEHICLE ARRESTED FOR DUI, DRUGS: On November 12 at 2:29 a.m., DFC P. Wood responded to the scene of a motor vehicle crash involving a single vehicle on Catalina Drive at Coyote Trail in Lusby. The driver of the vehicle, later identified as Megan Lee Maxwell, 30 of Lusby, and a female juvenile passenger were both transported to Calvert Memorial Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. While proceeding to CMH, DFC Wood was advised that Maxwell was acting disorderly at the hospital. After conducting several sobriety tests on Maxwell, she was placed under arrest for driving under the influence. A search revealed suspected drugs. She was also charged with possession of a schedule II drug, Adderall and possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, a pill crusher.
THEFT: Sometime between 4:00 p.m. on November 13 and 8:00 a.m. on November 14, unknown suspect(s) stole an undetermined amount of money from the coin machines at the Solomons Car Wash located on H.G. Trueman Road. The suspect(s) caused $600 in damage. DFC E. Bradley is investigating.
BURGLARY: Dep. R. Brady is investigating a burglary that occurred at a home on Dawn Drive in Prince Frederick between 6:00 p.m. on November 13 and 10:00 a.m. on November 14. The suspect(s) stole a safe containing $4500 worth of jewelry. Anyone with information is asked to contact Dep. Brady at 410-535-2800.
