PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (October 27, 2010)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) recently released the following incident and arrest reports.
THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE: On October 20 at 3:30 p.m., Trooper Logsdon investigated a report of a stolen vehicle from Appeal Lane in Lusby. The vehicle is a light blue 1992 Ford Taurus with MD tag 8DRD86. The investigation is continuing.
DUI, POSSESSION OF COCAINE, MARIJUANA: On October 20 at 10:08 p.m., Trooper Smith stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 4 at Stoakley Road in Prince Frederick. The driver, Travis T. Wills, 31 of Huntingtown, was arrested for driving under the influence. A search revealed that he was in possession of Marijuana and Cocaine. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
PRESCRIPTION FRAUD: On October 20 at 3:53 p.m., Trooper Esnes responded to the Safeway in Prince Frederick for a reported prescription fraud. Regina M. Claggett-Brown, 41 of Lusby, had attempted to obtain drugs with a fraudulent prescription. Charges are pending.
THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On October 22 at 2:22 p.m., Trooper Stewart responded to the Sunderland commuter parking lot for a reported theft from a vehicle. The driver side window of a vehicle was broken and a Garmin GPS unit was stolen. Investigation continues.
THEFT: On October 23 at 3:51 p.m., Trooper Stewart responded to the 1900 Block of Humming Bird Road in Lusby for a reported theft. A yellow Suzuki 125 dirt bike was stolen from a shed. Investigation continues.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: On October 24 at 10:34 p.m., Trooper First Class Donaldson responded to Chip's Towing in Huntingtown for a report of an attempted burglary. An employee observed a masked man attempt to get into a trailer on the lot. The suspect ran off when the employee yelled at him. Investigation continues.
