LA PLATA, Md. (October 21, 2010)—The Charles County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.
STRONG-ARM ROBBERY: On October 20 at 9:45 p.m., officers responded to the 3300 block of Crain Highway in Waldorf for the report of an assault. Investigation revealed three suspects approached the victim, 33, as he was walking in the area. They assaulted him and stole his jacket and cell phone. The suspects fled and the victim called police. Anyone with information is asked to call the Charles County Sheriff's Office at (301) 932-2222.
BURGLARY: On October 20 between midnight and 2 a.m., an unknown suspect broke into a house in the 11000 block of Kerrick Court in La Plata. Once inside, the suspect stole property and fled. The suspect may have entered the house through an unlocked door. This case may be tied to other thefts in the area in which property has been stolen from cars. The Sheriff's Office will activate their Reverse 9-1-1 system to alert residents of the investigation and offer safety tips. Anyone with information is asked to call (301) 932-2222. Officer B.
