LA PLATA, Md. (October 7, 2010)The Charles County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest report.
PATROL OFFICERS ARREST BURGLARY SUSPECTS AND RECOVER STOLEN PROPERTY: On October 3 at 9:31 a.m., officers responded to the 3800 block of Sunfish Court in Waldorf for a trespassing and burglary complaint. The caller reported she was taking care of a vacant house when she observed two males inside. The witness told the men they were trespassing and asked them to leave. As the witness checked the house, she saw some of the walls had been damaged and property had been stolen. In addition, she discovered property in the basement of the house that that did not belong and appeared to have been stolen from other homes. Officers were called to the scene where they located the men, Trevor Michael Taylor, 20, and Jeremy Daniel Riley, 22, both whom have no fixed addresses, a short distance away. The suspects were subsequently linked to the damage and thefts and charged with burglary. The investigation into the recovered property is on-going. Detectives Hemsley and Almassy are investigating.
