Calvert County Sheriff's Reports


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (October 5, 2010)—The Calvert County Sheriff's Office on Monday released the following incident and arrest reports.

WEEKLY SUMMARY: During the week of September 27 through October 3 deputies of the Calvert County Sheriff's Office responded to 1,828 calls for service throughout the community.

THEFT: DEF A. Locke is investigating the theft of $900 worth of copper stolen from the yard of a home on Summer City Blvd. in Chesapeake Beach. The theft occurred sometime between September 30 and October 1. Anyone with information is asked to contact Locke at 410-535-2800.

THEFT OF VEHICLE: A green 2005 Polaris Ranger all terrain vehicle was stolen from a warehouse of the Southern Memorial Gardens on Ward Road in Dunkirk in the early morning hours of October 1. The vehicle is valued at $14,000. Anyone with information is asked to contact DFC D. Deakins at 410-535-2800.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: A zebra print purse was stolen from a vehicle parked outside a home on Den-Mar Lane in Sunderland overnight between September 30 and October 1. The purse and its' contents are worth $150. The victim advised that her vehicle had been locked. Please contact DFC A. Locke at 410-535-2800 if you have any information.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: After conducting a traffic stop in the parking lot of Ledo's Pizza in Prince Frederick, Cpl. R. Wilson arrested the driver and two passengers for possession of suspected drugs. Wayne C. Jeandell, driver, 26, Michael A. Wheeler, 24 both of Cambridge and Brandy S. Wilkerson, 31 of Prince Frederick, were all arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, Phillies Blunts, used to inhale marijuana.

THEFT OF VEHICLE: A black 1986 Mazda pickup truck was stolen from the driveway of a home on Oxford Way in Huntingtown between October 1 and 2. Dep. J. Hardesty is investigating.

BURGLARY: A home on Lower Marlboro Road in Sunderland was entered and $5000 in damage was done sometime between August and October 2 when it was discovered. Dep. R. Brady is investigating.

BURGLARIES: DFC A. Locke is investigating two burglaries that occurred between September 20 and October 3 at 2 homes one on Greenhouse Place and one at Hoile Lane, both in Huntingtown. A shed and a garage were entered and a backpack leaf blower, Craftsman trimmer, red gas can, John Deere chain saw, Troy-Bilt pressure washer and Echo gas trimmer, total value over $2300, were stolen. Anyone with information is asked to contact DFC A. Locke at 410-535-2800.

BURGLARY: Unknown suspect(s) forced entry into a garage at a home on Broomes Island Road in Broomes Island on October 3. The culprit(s) did $900 in damage but nothing appears to have been stolen. Anyone with information is asked to contact DFC C. Ray at 410-535-2800.
