Drug Arrest in St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Sept. 22, 2010) - The St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) Narcotics Division released the following incident and arrest report. The Division is an investigative team comprised of detectives from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, Maryland State Police Drug Enforcement Division and Federal Drug Agents (HIDTA Group 34). The Division was established on September 1st, 2007 and is based in St. Mary’s County.

POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE MARIJUANA: On September 17, a search and seizure warrant was executed at a residence on Foxchase Drive in Great Mills. As a result of the search warrant, suspected marijuana was located in the residence along with controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia. Demar Rynell Mason, 27 of Great Mills, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, suspected marijuana and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia.
