MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (Sept. 22, 2010) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) on Tuesday released the following incident and arrest reports.

THEFT: On September 14 at 01:32 p.m., Trooper Parker responded to the 800 block of Bounty Place in Owings for a reported theft. A sign advertising land for sale was stolen from the property. Investigation continues.

THEFT: On September 14 at 7:05 p.m., Corporal Bennett responded to the 2800 block of Stinnett Road in Huntingtown for a reported theft. Several X-Box games were stolen. Investigation continues.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On September 14 at 9:09 p.m., Trooper First Class Saucerman responded to the Monterey Restaurant in Lusby for a complaint of a disorderly subject. Robert L. Wedding, 21, and Timothy W. Wedding 20, of Lusby, were both arrested after causing a disturbance in the parking lot. Both were intoxicated and yelling obscenities. They were incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA/COCAINE AND DRUG PARAPHERNALIA: On September 17 at 5:50 p.m., Trooper Wyer observed a golf cart traveling on HG Trueman Road in Lusby. Contact was made with the driver, Nicole K. Grover, 41 of Lusby. Marijuana and cocaine were found in her possession along with drug paraphernalia. She was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

BURGLARY: On September 18 at 10:15 a.m., Trooper Smith responded to the 14000 block of Solomons Island Road in Solomons for a reported burglary at Grandmother's Store. The business was entered and money was stolen from a safe. Investigation continues.

THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE: On September 19 at 11:43 a.m., Trooper Smith responded to the 7100 block of Industrial Drive in Owings for a report of a vehicle theft. A white 1999 GMC pickup truck was stolen and an air compressor was attached to the bed of the truck. Investigation continues.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On September 19 at 5:10 p.m., Trooper Wyer responded to the area of Rt. 260 and Route 2 for a reported disabled vehicle. During contact with the driver, drug paraphernalia was observed in the vehicle. Trevor W. Dillinger, 18 of Lusby, was arrested for possession of Marijuana. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

THEFT: On September 20 at 1:53 a.m., Trooper West stopped a vehicle on Route 4 at Kirksville Lane in Dunkirk after a look out was given for a shoplifting that had occurred at the WAWA store in Dunkirk. Lynn A. Smith, 46 of Washington, DC, had stolen several kinds of tea packets and sweeteners valued at $36.00 from the store. Smith was arrested for DUI and Marijauna was located in her possession. She was also charged with the theft. She was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF NUMEROUS PRESCRIPTION PILLS: On September 20 at 01:38 a.m., Trooper Thompson stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on West Mt. Harmony Rd. at Hall Court in Owings. During the traffic stop, Gregory A. Drennan, 46, of Upper Marlboro, was found to be in possession of assorted prescription pills. He was arrested and charged with possession of the pills with the intent to distribute. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
