LA PLATA, Md. (Sept. 9, 2010) - The La Plata Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest report.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On September 6 at approximately 5:29 p.m., TFC B. Sorenson was on routine patrol on southbound Route 5, north of Post Office Road when he observed a passenger in a gold Oldsmobile Regency Elite not restrained by a seat belt. TFC Sorenson stopped the vehicle and made contact with the passenger Kenneth Anthony Ruffner, 29 of Ft. Washington, when he detected an odor of burnt marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Ruffner was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.
