MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Sept. 9, 2010) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

DRUG ARREST: On Saturday, September 4 at 4:50 pm, TFC N. E. Gresko initiated a traffic stop on a red pick-up truck in the area of Maryland Route 5 and Maryland Route 243 for a traffic violation. Upon making contact with the operator, TFC Gresko detected the odor of burnt marijuana emitting from the vehicle. A probable cause search of the vehicle revealed CDS in the front of the truck as well as in the bed of the truck were two individuals were riding. Arrested for possession of CDS and CDS Paraphernalia was Stephen Gore Uhler, 19, of Hollywood, and Paul Michael Klear, 19, of Leonardtown. Also arrested for two outstanding warrants, Possession of CDS and CDS paraphernalia was Kenneth Michael Woodburn, 21, of no fixed address, who originally gave another person's name during questioning. All subjects were transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

DRUG ARREST: On Sunday, September 5 at 12:37 pm, TFC N. E. Gresko observed a white 1993 GMC truck being parked in a shopping center in the area of First Colony Boulevard. Occupying the vehicle was Sarah Elizabeth Gibson, 24, of Mechanicsville, and Billy Dale Jackle, 29, of Lexington Park, both of whom TFC Gresko is familiar with from previous arrests. As the occupants of the vehicle exited, TFC Gresko observed Mr. Jackle drop a red tube under the vehicle and walk away. Mr. Jackle was detained and the item recovered. CDS located in the tube resulted in the arrest of Mr. Jackle for Possession of CDS and CDS Paraphernalia. A search of the vehicle also revealed CDS, which Ms. Gibson was arrested and charged with Possession. Both subjects were transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

TRESPASSING: On Monday, September 6 at 1:21 am, Tpr. R. L. Jackson responded to the Lexington Park Post Office in reference to a report of suspicious subject lying on the floor in the lobby. Upon arrival, contact was made with Oliver Henry Woods, Jr., 49, of Waldorf, who was located sleeping in the lobby of the Post Office. Mr. Woods, who was previously issued a no trespass order and arrested for trespassing, was again arrested for trespassing on government property. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
