Evening High School Begins Sept. 15 in St. Mary's


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (August 31, 2010)—St. Mary's County Public Schools' Evening High School will begin classes for the first semester of the 2010-2011 school year on Wednesday, September 15.

Registration for the first semester will be on September 7, 8, and 9, from 3:45-7:00 p.m., in the Evening High School office in Area F of Leonardtown High School. Courses are only open to active students in St. Mary's County Public Schools who are under the age of 21. The fee is $150 per course, per semester. Cash payment is due in full at the time of registration.

Regularly scheduled classes will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45-5:40 p.m. or 5:45-7:40 p.m., at Leonardtown High School. Students may register for up to four classes per semester.

Students should meet with their high school counselor prior to registration. Enrollment numbers for courses will determine whether or not the course is offered.
