MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (August 18, 2010) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) released the following incident and arrest reports.

THEFT: On August 10 at 7:05 p.m., Trooper Stewart responded to the 11100 block of Leisure Lane in Lusby for a reported theft. An orange and yellow Mongoose BXM bike was stolen from the front yard of the residence.

ATTEMPTED THEFT: On August 11 at 05:45 a.m., Trooper Smith responded to the Skipjack Rd. in Prince Frederick for a report of an attempted theft from an unlocked vehicle in the victim's driveway. The car was entered and the vehicle contents were scattered. Nothing was stolen.

POSSESSION OF OXYCONTIN: On August 11 at 4:50 p.m., Corporal Koch stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Rt. 4 at Dares Beach Rd. in Prince Frederick. During a search, Jacob M. Lash, 28 of Huntingtown was found to be in possession of oxycontin and was arrestd. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

BURGLARY: On August 12 at 12:50 p.m., Trooper Thompson responded to the 300 block of Bay Avenue in Prince Frederick for a reported burglary. The residence was entered and collectible coins were stolen.

DUI, POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On August 14 at 3:32 a.m., Trooper Bender stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 4 at Cox Rd. in Huntingtown. Ruben Trevizo, 19 of Clinton, was arrested and charged with DUI. A search revealed he was also in possession of marijuana. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On August 14 at 6:24 p.m., Trooper First Class Dawson stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Rt. 261 at Rt. 260 in Chesapeake Beach. Codi L. DeVan, 21 of Churchton, was found to be in possession of Marijuana and arrested. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

DUI, POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On August 15 at 5:00 a.m., Trooper Esnes stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on HG Trueman Rd.at Patuxent Point Parkway in Lusby. Ted W. Taylor, Jr., 20 of Solomons, was arrested and charged with DUI. A secondary search revealed marijuana. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On August 16 at 7:59 p.m., Trooper Bender stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Rt. 4 south of Soller's Wharf Rd. in Lusby. A K-9 scan resulted in a positive alert for drugs and Marijuana was located. Edwin S. Foote, Jr., 20 of Lusby, was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On August 16 at 11:38 p.m., Trooper Stewart responded to the 11200 block of HG Trueman Rd in Lusby for a reported disorderly subject. Marvin W. Thomas, 43 of Prince Frederick, was found to be intoxicated. He was ringing door bells and knocking on the doors of residences. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
