MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (August 12, 2010) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

DRUG ARREST: On Sunday, August 8 at 4:07am, TFC M. B. Adams responded to Amber Drive and Westmeath Way in California for a reported domestic disturbance. During the investigation, contact was made with Christina Danielle Bolden, 25, of Waldorf. Pending information provided by Ms. Bolden, a search of a handbag revealed CDS, CDS Paraphernalia, and a knife. Christina Bolden was subsequently arrested for Possession of CDS - Not Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Deadly Weapon. Bolden was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

DRUG ARREST: On Monday, August 9 at 7:23pm, TFC K. D. Lashley initiated a traffic stop on a white Ford Ranger in the area of Yowaiski Mill Road and Mechanicsville Road in Mechanicsville for a traffic violation. Upon making contact with the driver, James Robert Kolbe, 20, of Charlotte Hall, and the passenger, Jonathan Mark Wood, a METERS/NCIC query revealed Mr. Wood had an outstanding warrant through the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department. While being detained in reference to the warrant, Mr. Wood provided TFC Lashley with CDS he had concealed on his person. Following Mr. Wood's arrest, the driver James Kolbe exited the vehicle and was found to be in Possession of a large amount of U.S. Currency, which alerted for CDS when scanned by a K9. Also discovered in the vehicle was Marijuana and other Drug Paraphernalia. Both Subjects were transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and charged accordingly. Mr. Kolbe and Mr. Wood were both held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, August 11 at 2:00pm, TFC J. S. Gibson arrested Preston Xavier Plater, 42, of Waldorf, on a bench warrant (T3-14291) issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County. The warrant was issued on January 22 with an original charge of Violation of Probation / Failing to Follow Conditions of Probation. Mr. Plater was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
