MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (July 22, 2010) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

THEFT UNDER $1,000: On Saturday, July 17 at 11:15am, TFC J. S. Gibson responded to the Farmer's Market in Charlotte Hall for a reported theft. Upon arrival, contact was made with the male complainant, 49, of Clinton, who advise and unknown suspect stole merchandise from the store. The complainant provided all available information to TFC Gibson. Any information pertaining to this case may be forwarded to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack; this investigation is ongoing.

MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On Tuesday, July 20 at 8:07am, Tpr B. T. Wiesemann responded to the 45000 block of Boyne Court in Great Mills for a reported malicious destruction of property. Upon arrival, contact was made with the male complainant, 18, of Great Mills, who advised between the hours of 1:30 am on July 20 and 7:30am on July 20, unknown subject(s) caused damaged to his vehicle. Tpr. Wiesemann documented damage to the windshield and drivers side mirror on the victim's vehicle. This investigation is ongoing; any information may be forwarded to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, July 20 at 1:00pm, Tpr. E. R. Mersman arrested Phyllis Jean Clark, 45, of Lexington Park, on a bench warrant (T3-14509) issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County. The warrant was issued on July 13 with an original charge of Driving While Impaired by Alcohol. Ms. Clark was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, July 21 at 10:40am, TFC E. J. Page served a warrant (T3-14515) on Angelise Michelle Harley, 29, of Waldorf. The warrant was issued by the Circuit Court of St. Mary's County on July 9 as the result of a grand jury indictment on a Theft Scheme charge. Ms. Harley was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

VIOLATION OF PROTECTIVE ORDER: On Wednesday, July 21 at 12:39pm, TFC E. J. Page responded to the 22000 block of Washington Street in Leonardtown for a reported violation of protective order. In violation of the guidelines set forth in the order was, Clyde Joseph Gainer, 48, of Charlotte Hall. Mr. Gainer was located and arrested at the District Court in Leonardtown. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
