MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (July 13, 2010) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

SHOPLIFTING: On July 6 at 5:45 p.m., TFC Gill responded to the Peebles Department Store in Prince Frederick in reference to a reported shoplifter. A customer attempted to exit the store without paying for several items. During the investigation it was also revealed that items had also been stolen from the K-Mart in the same shopping center. Dawn M. Fowler, 24 of Huntingtown, was arrested and charged.

POSSESSION OF COCAINE: On July 7 at 12:14 a.m., Trooper Wyer stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route at Ball Road in St. Leonard. The driver, Theodore F. Coates, Jr., 42 of Lusby, was arrested for driving on a revoked driver's license. A search revealed that Coates was in possession of Cocaine. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

SHOPLIFTING: On July 9 at 5:39 p.m., Trooper Smith responded to the K-Mart in Prince Frederick in reference to a shoplifter. Jack M. Feeser, 19 of Huntingtown was arrested for attempting to leave the store without paying for several items. He was taken to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.

BURGLARY: On July 10 at 4:10 a.m., TFC Saucerman responded to the 4100 block of Leitches Wharf Road in Prince Frederick for a reported burglary. Copper pipe and a .22 caliber handgun were stolen. Investigation continues.

ASSAULT: On July 12 at 12:50 a.m., Trooper Wyer responded to the 800 block of Yardley Drive in Prince Frederick for a report of a fight and shots being fired. Investigation revealed that Aisha Dawkins, 27 of Prince Frederick, and Lekeisha Barber, 19 or Prince Frederick, became involved in a fight in front of a residence on Yardley Drive. Dawkins sprayed Barber with pepper spray during the altercation. Roberto S. Battles, 37 of Hughesville, exited the residence with a handgun and fired two shots in the air. Detective Mudd from the Calvert Investigative Team responded to the scene and assisted with the investigation, executing search warrants on the residence and suspect's vehicle. The handgun was not located. Battles was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center. Charges are pending against Dawkins and Barber.

THEFT: On July 12 at 3:15 p.m., Trooper Esnes responded to the 12300 block of Settlers Trail in Lusby for a reported theft. Victim advised that two skateboards and a Mongoose BMX bicycle were removed from the property. Investigation continues.
