MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (July 12, 2010) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) released the following incident and arrest reports.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, July 6 at 10:45 am, TFC G. A. Thompson arrested Garvin Maurice Chambers, 39, of Lexington Park, on a bench warrant (T3-14497) issued by the District Court of Calvert County on June 21. The original charge was Driving Uninsured Vehicle. Mr. Chambers was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, July 6 at 2:10 pm, TFC M. J. Pitcher served a bench warrant (T3-14489) on Thomas E. Pinekenstein, 32, of Lexington Park. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County on June 25 with an original charge of CDS Possession - Not Marijuana. Mr. Pinekenstein was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, July 6 at 4:50 pm, TFC K. D. Lashley served an arrest warrant (T3-14498) on Earl Joseph Lee, 20, of Mechanicsville. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County on June 26 with an original charge of Theft: $1,000 to $10,000, Fourth Degree Burglary, and Driving While Suspended. Mr. Lee was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, July 7 at 10:24 am, Tpr. E. R. Mersman served a bench warrant (T3-14458) on Isabelle Marie Herbert, 32, of Avenue. The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County on June 3 with an original charge of Obtaining CDS By Altering Prescription. Ms. Herbert was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

ASSAULT 2ND DEGREE: On Wednesday, July 7 at 2:17 pm, Tpr. E. R. Mersman responded to the 20000 block of Joy Marie Way in Callaway for a reported domestic assault. Upon arrival, contact was made with the female complainant, 29, of Callaway who advised she was assaulted by Andres Miguel Blyden, 29, of Callaway. The assault occurred during an argument over living arrangements. Statements provided by the complainant and a witness resulted in the arrest of Mr. Blyden for Second Degree Assault. Mr. Blyden was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he will be charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
