St. Mary's County BCI Police Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (June 18, 2010) - The St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) released the following incident report. BCI is an investigative team comprised of detectives from the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office and the Maryland State Police, Leonardtown Barrack. The unit was established on July 1, 2003 and is based in Leonardtown.

SEX OFFENDER REGISTRY VIOLATION: On June 1, the BCI Sex Offender Unit initiated an investigation into the whereabouts of registered sex offender Michael Ray Anthony, Sr., age 44 of Lexington Park. The investigation revealed he was no longer residing at his home of record. Information gathered by the Sex Offender Unit indicated Anthony, Sr. may still be in St. Mary's County, possibly in the Ridge area. Suspect Anthony is registered as a violent sex offenderand is currently wanted on an outstanding warrant for Violation of Probation and Failing to Notify the Sex Offender Registry of an address change.

Persons with information regarding Michael Ray Anthony, Sr. or other registered sex offenders are urged to contact Corporal W.
