LEONARDTOWN, Md. (May 26, 2010) - The St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) Narcotics Division released the following incident and arrest reports. The Division is an investigative team comprised of detectives from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, Maryland State Police Drug Enforcement Division and Federal Drug Agents (HIDTA Group 34). The Division was established on September 1st, 2007 and is based in St. Mary’s County.
INDICTMENT FOR COCAINE DISTRIBUTION: Detectives began an undercover operation into the criminal activity of Allin Garman Holland, 31, and his alleged cocaine distribution. Purchases of cocaine were made from Suspect Holland and he was subsequently indicted. Suspect Holland is being held in the Calvert County Detention Center on unrelated charge. A detainer has been filed for his continued incarceration pending transfer to St. Mary's County.
INDICTMENT FOR COCAINE DISTRIBUTION, FIREARMS VIOLATIONS: Marvin Cornelius Briscoe, 30 of Lexington Park, was identified as a distributor of cocaine. Undercover operations led to purchases of cocaine. Suspect Briscoe was indicted on distribution and firearms violations. He was apprehended by Georgia Customs Enforcement Officers. He was incarcerated in the Fulton County Jail in Georgia until May 25th when he was transported back to St. Mary's Count. He is awaiting a Bond Review in the Circuit Court.
INDICTMENT FOR COCAINE POSSESSION, FIREARMS VIOLATIONS: Detectives received information that Thomas Sebastian Gough, 44, was involved in the distribution of cocaine. A search revealed Suspect Gough was in possession of cocaine and a firearm. At the conclusion of the investigations the case was reviewed by State's Attorney Richard D. Fritz and presented to the Grand Jury for St. Mary's County. An arrest warrant was issued for Suspect Gough for Possession of Cocaine and Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm and he was apprehended by a member of the Vice Narcotics Support Team. He was originally held in a No Bond status.
