LEONARDTOWN, Md. (May 24, 2010) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
ASSAULT 2ND DEGREE: On Wednesday, May 19 at 12:49 am, Tpr. J. C. Hardesty responded to 35000 block of Golf Course Drive in Mechanicsville for a reported assault. Upon arrival, contact was made with James Christopher Kilinski, 40, of Mechanicsville, who advised he was involved in an argument with a female complainant, 42, of Mechanicsville. Information provided by Mr. Kilinski and the female confirmed that both individuals committed an assault. Due to extenuating circumstances, Mr. Kilinski was arrested on scene for Second Degree Assault; the female, Tina Marchelle Harlan, 42, of Mechanicsville will be charged on a Criminal Summons. Mr. Kilinski was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On Thursday, May 20 at 7:48 am, Tpr B. T. Wiesemann responded to West Westbury Blvd at Rominger Court in Lexington Park for a reported Malicious Destruction of Property. Upon arrival, contact was made with the male complainant, 21, of Patuxent River, who advised sometime during the previous night his vehicle was damaged by unknown subjects. Tpr Wiesemann observed and documented a broken out driver's side window to the complainant's 2006 Chevrolet vehicle. This investigation is ongoing and any information regarding this case may be forwarded to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack.
TELEPHONE MISUSE: On Thursday, May 20 at 3:15 pm, a female complainant, 17, of Leonardtown responded to the Maryland State Police Barrack to report Telephone Harassment. The complainant was able to provide TFC J. R. Stern with information on a possible suspect, and a potential motive. Contact with the juvenile suspect, 15, of Hollywood, resulted in an arrest for Telephone Misuse. The juvenile was located in the 42000 block of Hugh Drive, Hollywood and transported to the Leonardtown Barrack. The juvenile was released to a parent pending further action by juvenile services.
MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On Friday, May 21 at 11:44 am, Tpr. E. J. Page responded to the 21000 block of Liberty Street in Lexington Park for a reported Malicious Destruction of Property. Upon arrival, contact was made with the female complainant, 50, of Lexington Park who advised sometime between May 15 and May 21 a window to her residence was broken by unknown subjects. Any information regarding this case may be forwarded to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack. This investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY: On Friday, May 21 at 5:00 pm, Tpr. G. A. Thompson responded to the 48000 block of Fairfield Way in Lexington Park for a reported burglary to a shed. Upon arrival, contact was made with the male complainant, 53, of Lexington Park, who advised unknown subjects made entry into a shed on the property and removed a Honda Dirt Bike without authorization. The Dirt Bike was entered into the METERS stolen database system. Any information regarding this case may be forwarded to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack. This investigation is ongoing.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Saturday, May 22 at 10:00 pm, Tpr. G. A. Thompson arrested Brian Marcus McCathern, 30, of Lexington Park, on an Arrest Warrant issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County on April 29. The original charge was CDS Possession - Not Marijuana. Mr. McCathern was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
