MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (May 19, 2010) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) released the following incident and arrest reports.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On May 13 at 5:46 a.m., Trooper Logsdon responded to Calvert Memorial Hospital for a reported disorderly subject. Natasha D. Rease, 23 of Lothian was causing a disturbance and refused to cooperate with officers. She was arrested incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

THEFT: On May 13 at 12:25 p.m., Trooper Smith responded to the 300 block of Clubhouse Drive in Lusby for a reported theft. Two diamond rings were stolen from the victim's jewelry box. Investigation continues.

THEFT: On May 13 16 7:52 p.m., Trooper Thompson responded to the 500 block of Durango Lane in Lusby for a reported theft. Two Diamondback bicycles were stolen from the residence. Investigation continues.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On May 13 at 11:00 p.m., Trooper West responded to the 900 block of Leesburg Ct. in Huntingtown for a reported assault. During the investigation, Kyle J. Flynn, 19 of Huntingtown was found to be in possession of Marijuana. He was arrested and was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On May 14 at 09:43 a.m., Trooper First Class Laziuck received a report of damage to a vehicle in the 11600 block of Big Bear Lane in Lusby. Investigation revealed that Levina V. Buck, 27 of Prince Frederick kicked the victim's vehicle causing damage. Charges are pending.

POSSESSION OF PILLS: On May 14 at 10:07 p.m., Trooper First Class Saucerman stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Thunderbird Drive at Lake Lariat in Lusby. A passenger, Garrett E. West, 23 of Lusby was found to be in possession of pills that he did not have a prescription for. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF CONCEALED DEADLY WEAPON: On May 14 2010 at 11:45 p.m., Trooper West stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Rt. 260 at St. Andrews Drive in Chesapeake Beach. A 13 inch butcher knife was found concealed in the vehicle. Tyesha R. Deady, 20 of Bowie was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

ASSAULT: On May 15 at 7:45 p.m., Trooper Thompson responded to the 3800 block of Spears Rd. in Huntingtown for a reported disturbance. Lindolfo Aquino Sarmiento, 34 of Huntingtown struck his cousin in the arm with a shovel during an argument. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center. The victim was treated at CMH for a laceration to his forearm.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT: On May 15 at 8:13 p.m., Trooper First Class Bowling responded to the 400 block of East Range Rd. in Lusby for a report of a stolen vehicle. A 1995 Red Buick LeSabre was removed from the driveway. Investigation continues.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On May 16 at 12:48 a.m., Trooper Logsdon responded to the Burger King in Solomons to assist with a traffic stop. Killiam R. Mc Carthy, 23 of Port Republic, a passenger in the vehicle, became disorderly when the driver was arrested for DUI. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

THEFT FROM VEHICLES: May 16, TFC Laziuck responded to the Dunleigh and Lyons Creek Overlook subdivisions for reports of numerous vehicles being broken into overnight. Many unlocked vehicles were entered and several had windows broken to gain entry. IPods, purses and wallets were removed from the vehicles. The investigation is continuing.

THEFT FROM SHED: On May 16 at 8:44 p.m., Trooper First Class Gill responded to the 900 block of Clay Hammond Rd. in Prince Frederick for a reported theft. A catalytic converter was stolen from a wooden shed.
