MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (April 28, 2010) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) released the following incident and arrest reports.

POSSESSION OF COCAINE: On April 21 at 5:37 p.m., Trooper First Class Bowling stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on HG Trueman Rd. at Town Square Drive in Lusby. TFC Murphy of the MSP K-9 Unit conducted a K9 scan which resulted in the passenger Joshua Eckloff, 26 of Hollywood, being found in possession of crack cocaine. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: On April 22 at 2:30 p.m., Trooper First Class Johns responded to the 12300 block of Algonquin Trail in Lusby for a reported burglary attempt. Attempts were made to pry open the rear door of a residence. Investigation continues.

BURGLARY: On April 23 at 5:03 p.m., Trooper Lewis responded to the 1500 block of Ball Road in Port Republic for a reported burglary. The residence was entered and a jug containing approximately $100 was removed for the residence. Investigation continues.

THEFT: On April 25 at 12:11 p.m., Trooper First Class Donaldson responded to the 4300 block of Rhett Pratt Court in Huntingtown for a reported theft from a motor vehicle. Unlocked vehicles were entered and a cell phone and a DVD player were stolen. Investigation continues.
