LA PLATA, Md. (April 22, 2010) - The Charles County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest report.
PATROL OFFICER ARRESTS MAN WITH HANDGUN, DRUGS: On April 21 at 4:56 p.m., officers were called to the 7500 block of Crain Highway in La Plata for the report of a man who was in violation of a protective order. Officers located the suspect, Charles Napata Guy, Jr., 23, of La Plata, and recovered a .32 caliber handgun and marijuana inside his coat pocket. Guy was arrested and charged with possession of a handgun, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and violation of a protective order. He was remanded to the Charles County Detention Center.
