MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (April 20, 2010) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On April 12 at 8:45 a.m., Trooper Bender responded to the 12200 block of Bandera Lane in Lusby for a reported assault and destruction of property. Investigation revealed that Jenifer M. Moy, 19 of Lusby, threw a chair and other items at the victim causing damage to the vehicle. Case remains open pending charges.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On April 14 at 3:53 p.m., Trooper Wyer stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 4 north of Cox Road in Huntingtown. The driver, Christopher E. Slattery, 29 of Huntingtown, was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

THEFT: On April 15 at 4:17 p.m., Trooper Thompson responded to the Radio Shack in Prince Frederick for a reported theft. Two suspects stole three mobile cell phones from a display and fled the store in an unknown direction. The first suspect was a black male wearing a black top and jeans. The second suspect was wearing a white Redskins jersey and Redskins hat. Both suspects were of medium build and had very dark complexion.

CONCEALED WEAPON: On April 17 at 2:50 a.m., Trooper West stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 4 at Route 2 in Sunderland. Cephas T. Hutchins, 31, of Huntingtown, was placed under arrest for DUI. A search revealed a pair of brass knuckles in his front right pocket. He was additionally charged with possessing a concealing weapon. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

ASSAULT: On April 17 at 2:30 p.m., Trooper Esnes responded to the 100 block of Arthur King Road in Prince Frederick for a reported assault. Investigation revealed that two neighbors, Tremayne L. Pride, 34, and Nathaniel Parker, 55, became involved in an argument. Parker retrieved a baseball bat from his residence. Pride took the bat from Parker and struck Parker in the arm with the bat. Charges are pending.

DISORDERLY: On April 17 at 11:45 p.m., Trooper Logsdon made contact with Andre M. Proctor, 34, of Mechanicsville. Proctor was intoxicated and behaving in a disorderly manner and refused orders given by the trooper. The incident occurred in front of Catamaran's restaurant on Solomon's Island. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On April 18 at 12:49 p.m., Trooper Smith responded to the 200 block of MaCrae Avenue in Prince Frederick for a reported destruction of property. The passenger side of the victim's vehicle was scratched with a car key or some other sharp object. Investigation continues.

THEFT: On April 19 at 3:03 p.m., Trooper West responded to the 13800 block of Solomons Island Road in Solomons for a reported theft. A bronze water pump and stainless steel driveshaft were stolen from the victim's boat yard. Investigation continues.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On April 19 at 5:16 p.m., Trooper Parker responded to the 2400 block of Johnson Road in Huntingtown for a reported destruction of property. The victim's mailbox was spray painted. Investigation continues.
