Five Arrested for Disorderly Conduct at Tiki Bar Opening


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (April 19, 2010)—Members of the Calvert County Sheriff's Office arrested 2 people for disorderly conduct on Friday and 3 people for disorderly conduct on Saturday on Solomons Island at the annual Tiki Bar opening. Police did not release the names of those arrested.

The annual Tiki Bar opening has become a spring-time ritual that draws thousands of people from all across the region to party in the open air on Solomons Island.

Police make a strong presence in and around the area every year.
