PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (April 13, 2010) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
BURGLARY: On April 5, 2010 at 10:11 a.m., Trooper Bender responded to the Cliff's Motel in St. Leonard for a reported burglary. The motel office was broken into and a computer was stolen. The investigation is continuing.
ARSON THREAT: On April 5, 2010 at 10:22 p.m., Trooper First Class Donaldson responded to the 7300 block of Old Bayside Road in Chesapeake Beach for a person acting disorderly. Brian Whitehouse, 23 of Upper Marlboro, refused to leave the property when asked by the owner and threatened to burn down the house and left the scene. TFC Donaldson is applying for charges.
THEFT: On April 6, 2010 at 11:50 a.m., Trooper Logsdon responded to the 3700 block of Cassell Blvd. in Prince Frederick for a report of a suspicious white truck driving very slow through the neighborhood. The vehicle was located unoccupied and the registration plate was determined to be reported stolen in Charles County. The investigation is continuing.
BURGLARY: On April 7, 2010 at 3:54 p.m., Trooper First Class Donaldson responded to the 12100 block of Palisades Drive in Dunkirk for a reported burglary and theft. There was no forced used to enter the residence however, several items were reported missing including jewelry and an autographed pair of Michael Jordan basketball shoes. Suspects have been developed and the investigation is continuing.
ASSAULT: On April 8, 2010 at 8:26 am, Trooper First Class Saucerman responded to the school bus stop at Ridgeview Road and White Sands Drive for a reported assault. Investigation revealed that Lynette Moreland, 33 of Lusby and Joy Meredith, 30 of Lusby, assaulted each other during a dispute at the bus stop while waiting with their children for the bus to arrive. Charges are pending.
BURGLARY: On April 8, 2010 at 10:05 p.m., Trooper First Class Donaldson responded to the 10800 block of Southern Maryland Blvd. in Dunkirk for a reported burglary. A locked garage was entered and several remote control cars were stolen. The investigation is continuing.
BURGLARY: On April 9, 2010 at 12:18 p.m., Trooper Thompson responded to the 1300 block of Clay Hammond Road in Prince Frederick for a reported burglary to a barn. A lock was pried from a storage barn however, nothing was stolen.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On April 9, 2010 at 5:09 p.m., Trooper First Class Donaldson stopped at vehicle for traffic violations on Route 260 at Wesley Stinnett Road in Chesapeake Beach. The driver, Andrew T. Varish, 24 of North Beach, was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
BURGLARY: On April 10, 2010 at 08:58 a.m., Trooper Parker responded to the 13400 block of Stowaway Court in Solomons for a reported burglary. An unlocked basement door was entered and a 2006 Honda dirtbike was stolen. Suspects have been developed and charges are pending. The investigation is continuing. .
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On April 10, 2010 at 1:35 p.m., Trooper West stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 4 at Town Center Blvd. in Prince Frederick. Deputy First Class Aurich of the Calvert County Sheriff's Department arrived on the scene with a K9 to do a scan of the vehicle. The driver,
[REDACTED**], was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. She was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
