PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (March 22) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) recently released the following incident and arrest reports.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On March 1 at 11:59 p.m., Trooper Wyer stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 4 in the area of Stoakley Road. A search of the vehicle revealed Marijuana. Lyle S. Stepney, 18, of Chesapeake Beach, was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On March 4 at 5:40 p.m., Trooper Lewis stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 4 at Georgianna Lane. A search of the vehicle revealed Marijuana. Kevin D. China Jr., 21, of St. Leonard, was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On March 6 at 11:08 a.m., Trooper First Class Donaldson responded to the 8100 block of Arbor Way in Owings, for a reported theft from a vehicle. Unknown suspect(s) punched out the driver's side window to gain access and removed multiple items, including a GPS, Radar Detector, Speaker and Subwoofer, hand tools and clothing.
MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On March 6 at 4:45 p.m., Trooper Esnes responded to the 1700 block of Brickhouse Rd. in Dunkirk for a report of Malicious Destruction of Property. Unknown suspect(s) had placed two key marks, approximately 12 inches in length, on the right rear side of the victim's vehicle.
MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On March 6 at 11:47 p.m., Trooper First Class Saucerman responded to the Prince Frederick WAWA in response to a fight in progress. During the course of the argument, one of the suspects had jumped onto the roof of the victim's vehicle leaving a large dent in the roof. Application for Statement of Charges has been submitted for Robert Bowles, 19, of Chaptico. Investigation continues.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On March 7 at 11:58 p.m., Trooper West stopped a vehicle for traffic violations at Avenue B and Chesapeake Avenue in St. Leonard. The driver, Ralph W. Mc Knett, 46, of St. Leonard, was placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. A search revealed that he was in possession of Marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
