Juvenile Charged for Setting Bag on Fire at Lackey HS


CHARLES COUNTY, Md. (March 22, 2010) State Fire Marshals have charged a seventeen-year-old male for setting fire to a bag of unknown contents in the hallway of Lackey High School. The incident and subsequent arrest occurred on Friday Afternoon, March 19.

The juvenile was released to the custody of parents and the case will be referred to juvenile justice authorities. The boy is charged with 1st Degree Arson, 2nd Degree Malicious Burning and Destruction of Property. Damage to the school consisted of approximately $25 for burned floor tiles.
